Masseur
The Maison Helya massage therapist is a certified and experienced professional in body and facial care, selected to collaborate with the household. Whether specializing in fascia or traditional massage techniques, they provide on-site services daily or as needed to ensure comfort and well-being for clients and their families.
Fields of excellence of our masseur
Assessing needs and providing personalised advice
- Assessing the client's physical and emotional state through discussion and even palpation
- Advising clients on the type of massage best suited to their needs
- Recommend exercises or stretches to do at home to prolong the benefits of the massage
Perform massages and body treatments
- Know and apply various massage techniques (Swedish, Californian, Thai, deep tissue, Shiatsu, etc.)
- Adapt the type of massage to the client's specific needs: relaxation, sports recovery, pain relief, etc.
- Relieve tension, improve blood and lymph circulation and promote general well-being
Create a relaxing and safe environment in your home
- Create a comfortable, calm and welcoming treatment area
- Pay attention to temperature, lighting and music management
- Use appropriate oils or creams to suit the customer's taste
Masseur profile
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar position required
- Professional qualification as a well-being practitioner or spa and well-being consultant / NVQ or BTEC in Aesthetics, Cosmetics and Perfumery
- Fluency in French, English appreciated (optional)
- Mastery of massage techniques, knowledge of anatomy and physiology, ability to assess customer needs, sensitivity and body awareness, patience, physical stamina and dexterity, discretion, confidentiality, respect for professional ethics, ability to create a soothing environment, adaptability and continuous training
