Landscape Gardener
The Maison Helya landscape gardener is responsible for the maintenance and care of the property’s outdoor areas. This professional ensures the aesthetic appeal of gardens and green spaces, following the preferences and instructions of the owners.
Fields of excellence of a landscape gardener
Designing and/or maintaining the exterior of the property
- Designing and landscaping outdoor areas (estate, park, garden, terrace, vegetable garden, etc.)
- Maintaining these areas and operating the necessary gardening equipment (power or hand tools)
- Maintain groves, flowerbeds, woods, fountains, etc.
- Maintain vegetable gardens and harvest produce
Maintain and manage equipment
- Looking after and maintaining gardening tools and dedicated storage space
- Define supply requirements (tools, products, etc.)
Peripheral management
- Manage purchases, stocks and the budget allocated to outside areas
- Act as the main contact for external service providers (swimming pool specialists, tree pruners, etc.)
- Occasionally maintain vehicles in the fleet
- Manage purchases and supplier invoices
Landscape gardener profile
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar position required
- Holder of a baccalaureate or equivalent in landscaping
- Must hold a phytosanitary certificate (decision-maker)
- Driving license
- A passion for gardening and landscaping, creativity, a sense of service, thoroughness, attention to detail, autonomy, flexibility, versatility, good observation skills and patience
