The Maison Helya makeup artist is a qualified and experienced professional in skincare and makeup. Carefully selected by Maison Helya, they collaborate with our Maison and provide on-site services to enhance clients’ looks daily or for special events.
Fields of excellence of a makeup artist
Recommending make-up and skincare advice
- Analysing the nature of the skin and understanding the customer's needs
- Recommending skin care to prepare the face for make-up
- Produce trend and style documents
Master make-up techniques perfectly
- Apply make-up for different occasions (day, evening, wedding, special event, filming, etc.)
- Adjust work to specific needs: natural, sophisticated or artistic look
- Accompany clients on business or private trips
- Create original looks, from complex transformations to special effects
Makeup artist profile
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar position required
- BTEC in Aesthetics and Cosmetics / Bachelor's degree in Aesthetics with make-up option / BSc in Cosmetology / Master's degree in Aesthetics Management / MBA in Beauty and Luxury
- Fluency in French, English appreciated (optional)
- Mastery of make-up techniques (products, techniques, tools, etc.), knowledge of skin types and skincare products, creativity and artistic flair, precision and attention to detail, good listening and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, adaptability and continuous updating
